In-ground distribution units can be used to provide safe and easy access to multiple supply types such as power, data, compressed air, and water. In these situations, a traditional above ground distribution cabinet would not be suitable or aesthetically pleasing.
They are designed to be used in the closed position with cable protectors, leaving the surrounding area clear avoiding trip hazards and the use of barriers.
GIFAS units merge seamlessly into the landscape as the cover can be filled with material to match the surrounding area. This makes them perfect for city centres, sports arenas, event spaces, as they are built to withstand the toughest environments. Examples include heavy traffic, hazardous organic sites, and industrial areas.
