Our range of street lighting photocells has been designed to meet the needs of luminaire manufacturers and asset managers who are looking for reliable, “fit and forget” street lighting control products that give long-term service.

We offer a choice of photocell models:

• CELxcel Standard: < 0.46 Watts with 8-year Warranty.
• CELxcel Plus: < 0.25 Watts with 12-year Warranty.
• CELxcel Low Power: < 0.09 Watts with 12-year Warranty.
• CELxcel Zhaga: ultra-low energy consumption, 10-year Warranty.

NEMA connection

CELxcel Standard, Low and Plus products

Siting the photocell externally protects it from the heat of the luminaire thus guarding against potential damage to internal components while offering more protection against the elements. The twist and lock installation provides a reliable power connection and seal.

Conduit connection

CELxcel Standard, Low and Plus products 

The 20mm conduit housing is an innovative solution for use where mounting via a 20mm hole is desired.  This alternative to the traditional “mini cell” offers all the same benefits and protection as the NEMA option.

Zhaga connection

CELxcel Zhaga

This low-profile photocell is designed for use with LED light sources and street lighting controls that have Zhaga d4i standard connectors and support Dali 2.0. it is powered directly from the SR driver so has ultra-low power consumption making it a very cost-effective product.

7 Pin NEMA Sockets

The product is supplied pre-wired for ease of installation and simple connection to the luminaire. It comes with a protective cap, enabling it to be safely fitted before transport, keeping time on site for the contractor to a minimum.

NEMA socket extension pins

These allow quick and easy conversion to an IP2X 7 pin NEMA socket. The Telensa node has a pin, that once the existing spade connector is removed and replaced with our extension pins, a connection to our 7 pin NEMA socket can be achieved.

Shorting plugs

The NEMA shorting plug (cap or dummy link) provides a permanent power connection and IP68 ingress protection for luminaries fitted with a NEMA socket that are on group control circuits.
